All Apologies

I’ve just found that Google has been sticking all the mail from my site into the spam folder.

Sorry for those who I’ve not replied to, I wasn’t ignoring you.

Here’s the low down. As many of you guessed I’m not actively supporting this project anymore. When I was teaching in China I had plenty of time for PHP in my spare time but now I’m working PHP 8 hours a day I find it hard to bring myself to do it in my spare moments. For me functionality of the plugin reached what I wanted many versions back which didn’t help with giving me incentive to continue.

However it seems from the emails I’ve checked through in my spam bin that the plugin does not work with WordPress 3.0. So I am going to try and resolve this problem this week. Hopefully this will give me a reason to dust off the code that’s in development as it has many code improvements over the most recent release.

If you are currently experiencing bugs with the plugin please attach them as comments to this post and I’ll do what I can to fix them.

If anyone is interest in taking over this plugin then get in touch.

I just started using this after finding it and upgrading my wordpress. For some reason I felt like writing again but there’s going to be some new topics and would like to have subdomains since I use wildcard DNS and have my apache config set up for it.

If you fixed it that would be wonderful.

Hey Alex

I’ve upgraded and found this problem too. I was very happy with how the plugin was working, and had tweaked the code a little bit (like preferring certain subdomains over others)

I would gladly help fix this, but I’m quite a novice at PHP and don’t know the plugin well. I am going to have a look around now and see if I can work out what’s not working!

Hi,

On WP 3.0, when creating subdomains for pages, I got an error 301 when trying to reach the subdomain.

That’s all I can tell…

I just installed this plug-in so I’m not certain if my issue is related to WP 3.0 or not…

Though the plugin properly shows the category as a subdomain in the address bar, the link just shoots me back to my main index page. (subdomain.domain.com)

However, sub-categories of the subdomain function properly…

subdomain.domain.com/category/mycategory/

I’ve finally upgraded to 3.0 and not encountered many problems with the dev version of the plugin.

There is a couple of issues in the configuration which I’m going to sort out.
